Drew Gulak And WWE Part Ways
Drew Gulak and WWE have parted ways.
According to a report from PWInsider, Gulak’s contract expired following Friday night’s episode of SmackDown, which was taped earlier this week. It was said that Gulak and WWE had been working on negotiating a new deal prior to his contract expiring, however both sides were unable to reach an agreement.
With Gulak’s contract expiring, he is now free to work anywhere of his choosing, as there isn’t a no-compete clause in effect.
WWE officially moved Drew Gulak’s profile to Alumni section of the WWE.com website on Saturday, which first triggered speculation of his status with the company. WWE has yet to publicly announce Drew Gulak’s departure from the company, but multiple sources have indeed confirmed that he is no longer with WWE.
Gulak was eliminated from the WWE Intercontinental Title Tournament on Friday night’s episode of SmackDown after losing a hard fought match against Daniel Bryan.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about Drew Gulak’s departure from WWE or his wrestling future.
