Britt Baker Officially Removed From Tonight’s Double Or Nothing PPV Due To Injury
On this past week’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT, Britt Baker suffered what appeared to be a serious injury during her match with Nyla Rose against the team of Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander.
We had previously reported that after speaking to our sources within AEW, that it didn’t look good for Baker’s status for tonight’s Double or Nothing PPV, and that it was believed to have been a torn ACL.
While the exact extent and details of Britt Baker’s injury has not yet officially been revealed, she is officially out of tonight’s AEW Double Or Nothing PPV card due to injury. AEW announced the change to tonight’s PPV line-up earlier today on twitter, as Britt Baker has been replaced by Penelope Ford.
AEW’s announcement read:
“. @RealBrittBaker is out of #AEWDon due to injury. We will address her status at Double or Nothing tomorrow night.
@callmekrisstat will now face @thePenelopeFord Live on Pay Per View.
Double or Nothing is available on all major providers, B/R Live and FITE TV – 8/7c”
