It had been reported back in January that former IMPACT wrestling star Brian Cage had signed with All Elite Wrestling. The reports were shot down by his wife, and not much had been heard about it since.
Part of tonight’s AEW Double or Nothing PPV, was the Casino Ladder Match which featured a mystery competitor. The mystery competitor ended up being Brian Cage, who was accompanied to the ring by Taz.

Cage was victorious, as he was able to climb the ladder and grab the casino chip hanging above the ring, earning himself a shot at the AEW World Title.
