Potential Spoiler On Matt Riddle’s Main Roster Debut
It looks as though the “King of Bros” Matt Riddle is on his way to WWE’s main roster.
Riddle has a huge match on this Wednesday’s episode of WWE NXT against Timothy Thatcher, but it could potentially be his farewell or send-off match.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted by Dave Meltzer that Matt Riddle worked yesterday’s set of WWE TV Tapings. Since we did not see Riddle appear on last night’s episode of Raw, it is assumed that he will make his debut Friday as part of the SmackDown roster.
“There’s a good chance that Matt Riddle will be on SmackDown on Friday because Matt Riddle was performing today and they taped SmackDown today for Friday.”
It was also pointed out that since WWE taped yesterday, that Riddle’s debut could potentially air whenever they wanted, they could easily hold off a week or two before working it into the program. But he was working yesterday’s tapings and he did wrestle, so his main roster debut is at least imminent.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about Matt Riddle’s main roster debut.
