Yesterday a movement took twitter by storm as women began #SpeakingOut sharing their stories of sexual abuse and assault that has plagued wrestling locker rooms throughout the world.
A list of over 75 names have been compiled as being involved in some way, including WWE Superstars Jordan Devlin, Ligero, Joe Coffey, Jack Gallagher, and Matt Riddle just to name a few.
Matt Riddle was set to make his main roster debut on tonight’s episode of SmackDown, however it now appears as though WWE has removed all mention of his debut from the preview for tonight’s broadcast.
DM’s have since surfaced from both Matt Riddle and his wife Lisa concerning the accusations brought against him. Riddle claims that the allegations are false, and that both his and WWE’s lawyers are already in motion to press charges against her for defamation. In addition, Riddle’s wife Lisa claimed that they almost took a restraining order out against Cartwright last year, and that Matt has had to change his phone number twice because of her.
