Matt Riddle’s Attorney Releases Official Statement Regarding Allegations Of Sexual Misconduct

Early this morning, allegations surfaced against WWE Superstar Matt Riddle as part of the #SpeakingOut movement.

Female independent wrestler Candy Cartwright alleged that Riddle sexually assaulted her back in 2018 while traveling along with other wrestlers.

We had previously reported on leaked DM’s which showed Matt Riddle speaking about the accusations, and how his attorney already had been informed and motions in place. In an update to that report, Matt Riddle tweeted out an official press release from his attorney Daniel Rose.

“The allegations by this independent female performer are completely false and another attempt to harass and humiliate Mr. and Mrs. Riddle and to try to tarnish their reputation in the community.

We have been aware for the last two years of this performer stalking the Riddle family.

In 2019, our firm drafted a pleading against this performer to seek an injunction for cyberstalking in the Circuit Court for Orange County, Florida.”

This lines up with the previous report which also showed DM’s from Matt Riddle’s wife Lisa, stating that they had almost filed a restraining order in the past against Cartwright.
