WWE Aiming For Return To Live Events By September
WWE had originally been trying their best to return to live events woth crowds in August, however that plan seems to have been pushed back once again. WWE will be holding this year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view at the Performance Center despite their best efforts to stage the event as planned. Due to the recent surge of COVID-19 cases, WWE have now switched gears and are hopeful of a return to live events in September instead, according to WrestleVotes.
WWE had been looking into the possibility of holding shows at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida. However, due to the recent spikes of coronavirus cases, officials have decided to reverse those plans and put them on hold indefinitely. WWE are said to be remaining positive and highly optimistic about their live event relaunch in September.
