Ringside News have exclusively reported that former best friends turned bitter enemies Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville were headed for a “hair raising” encounter at this years Summerslam, but the plans have been nixed by WWE Creative.
Mandy and Sonya have been at war for a number of months now following the huge reveal that Sonya was trying to cause a rift between Mandy and her unlikely beau Otis. The angle has been going on since the turn of the year, but it seems as though WWE aren’t even close to being finished with their feud.
Ringside News has learned that WWE were planning a match for Summerslam 2020 between Mandy and Sonya with an somewhat surprising stipulation… a good old fashioned hair vs hair match. The idea was floated around but got stuck at the planning phase and was eventually rejected. Sonya has recently found moderate success in her “Daddy Deville” character, but the result of this match may well have paved the way for that pereona in one way or another.
