WWE Ensuring Post Extreme Rules Scripts Kept Top Secret
With the latest incarnation of WWE Extreme Rules only a few hours away, naturally we start to ponder what WWE have planned for the build up to “The Biggesy Party Of The Summer” – Summerslam 2020. The company currently have plans in place for the next set of television tapings, but those booking decisions are being kept under strict lockdown.
Ringside News recently dropped an exclusive report into how WWE’s writing process has been structured post Paul Heyman. It’s certainly complicated, surprising and also pretty darn interesting. The new restructuring allows for critical information to remain guarded and to be kept as top secret as possible.
Ringside News have now learned that the scripts for tekevision after Extreme Rules have been finalised, but they have not yet been handed out to anyone within the creative team, and they won’t be until the pay-per-view has aired. A key phrase being spoken backstage is “there are no more secrets, everything is transparent,” It was then noted to RSN that in fact “it’s anything but.”
WWE are clearly trying their best to keep their secrets exactly that – secret. With the second biggest event on the wreatling calendar looming nearer every day I’ll is understandable that Vince is on high alert. This also gives the boss an opportunity to change things at the drop of a dime with only an exclusive select few knowing about it. WWE have a history of dropping surprises during the build to Summerslam, and at the event itself, so this latest information could lead to some big things happening in the coming weeks.
