WWE had a major issue backstage today, with production for tonight’s Monday Night RAW being massively delayed. The production and creative teams are over an hour late getting started and things appear to be very chaotic right now.
Ringside News exclusively reported that Vince McMahon had called for a total re-write of tonight’s edition of RAW. There was a plan in place just this morning which included the returning Mustafa Ali, but as of now nobody is sure what to expect. It was later reported that WWE’s TV tapings were also delayed. Ringside News have confirmed that WWE haven’t started taping yet, and were given more insight into the current situation.
Ringside News reported that a creative team member, currently at the Performance Center, said they are having to re-write a lot of things because Superstars aren’t there. There is “also a lot of second guessing going on” and “no one is confident in any vision” as they are all “just looking to see what Vince doesn’t reject and then scrambling to appease Vince.”
Ringside News also exclusively reported that the current mindset when pitching an idea to Vince McMahon is to get the job done quickly and get out of his office before he either bores with you, or even worse, he gets upset.
