Fightful Select are reporting that at one point earlier this year, WWE were still very much pushing forward with plans to hold another WWE Draft. However, almost nothing has been set in stone as of yet and the company have changed their plans for the Draft multiple times.
The next instalment of the WWE Draft was being pencilled in for August. However, those plans were then pushed back in to September, before the plans were again moved even further back in to October. WWE then flip flopped plans back and forth, apparently changing back to September before switching back to October yet again.
As of this writing, the upcoming WWE Draft event is still being planned and scheduled to take place in October, but the report noted that those plans could always change as they already have multiple times by this point. This is WWE after all – “Plans Changed” may as well be their tagline at this stage. The last WWE Draft was held back in October 2019.
