Backstage Chaos At Today’s Set Of WWE RAW Tapings
WWE is scheduled to record two weeks of RAW today from the Performance Center. However, it sounds like things are very chaotic and not going smooth down at the PC.
According to a report from Ringside News, today’s set of tapings has been described as being “the most unprepared that WWE has been going into television in years.” This comes in the wake of reports that Vince McMahon shot down a ton of segments for tonight’s episode of RAW, and that he only approved a fraction of the segments pitched.
In addition, it was also stated that usually WWE begins filming at the Performance Center around 1 PM ET, however as of 11:55 am today “they still had a lot of things to do,” as neither of the scripts for tonight’s or next week’s RAW was complete.
The report went on to say that they were told by a member of WWE’s writing team who is on hand at the Performance Center today, that the taping of WWE Main Event was also “a total scramble,” and that Superstars are “being booked and unbooked with no direction or guidance” given backstage. The source also said that “producers are lost because we seem to be directionless.”
It’s said that RAW was described as being “a total sh*t show.”
“It must be Monday, & one #WWE tapes Raw. We’ve been told that today is the “most unprepared” WWE has been coming into a TV in years. They “PLAN” to tape 2 shows. Completely disorganized. Nothing is complete. Talent booked and unbooked no direction or guidance..”
