AEW Dynamite Preview (8/5/20)
It is another much anticipated episode of Dynamite. Coming off of a not-so-well received edition of All Elite Wrestling’s top show, this week’s card brings a debate to lead to a much anticipated rematch, another MJF campaign, a world championship match, and more.
Tonight, three matches are set to take place. Along with the aforementioned world title match between Darby Allin & Jon Moxley, AEW also has the debut match for Matt Cardona planned as he will team with the TNT Champion Cody to face the Dark Order’s Alex Reynolds & John Silver. Will Cardona be able to make a great showing now that he is in the world of the Elite?
Also on the card is, something this writer has never seen before, a 12-man tag team match as FTR team with the Elite to face six other members of the Dark Order, one of which will be the exalted one, Mr. Brodie Lee. Last week, the Dark Order looked to take out the Tag Team Champions Hangman Page & Kenny Omega; however, the Young Bucks & FTR helped make the save for the champs. How will FTR & the Elite be about to fair as a collective, and can this be better than last week’s 10-man tag?
Along with the debate between Chris Jericho & Orange Cassidy, as well as MJF’s campaign update, this is surely looking to get Dynamite back on course as the company looks forward to All Out at the end of the month. Join us tonight at 8/7c for live coverage of AEW Dynamite.
