AEW could be introducing a new set of titles eventually. Kenny Omega teased the introduction of a Trios Title during the Chris Jericho cruise. However, one team certainly is against the introduction of the new titles.
Fightful recently spoke with Harwood and Wheeler. FTR said that they did not want Trios Title yet. They said it was similar to “trying to run before they could walk.”
According to them, once the company has established their tag team division properly, then it could be a good idea. Currently, FTR certainly does not want anything to do with new titles.
It was also noted that if FTR ever includes a third member for their team, it would be Chris Jericho. However, Jericho is currently the leader of The Inner Circle, so this appears unlikely right now.
