As AEW love to keep saying and doing with this show, Dark once again looks to be “STACKED” with nine total matches taking place on the Elite promotion’s secondary event of the week. As per, there are quite a few warm up matches, and there are a few contests to be decided between made AEW names.
There are some recognizable, for lack of a better word, jobbers returning on tonight’s card. Dark will see the likes of Lee Johnson, Pineapple Pete, and Shawn Dean back in action. Also to be seen in the AEW in-ring debut of Paul Ellering’s daughter, Rachel, as she goes one on one with Penelope Ford. Returning from last week will be Griff Garrison & Brian Pillman Jr. as they face Private Party in tag team action, and Aaron Solow will team with the aforementioned Pineapple Pete and Corey Hollis to face Jurassic Express in 6-man tag action. As for Johnson and Dean, Johnson will go one on one with Rey Fenix & Shawn Dean will team with M’badu to face Austin Gunn and his “I need the spotlight too, son” father, Billy (Forgive me as I wish they would do more with Austin).
More is in store tonight, because more is always more, as Shawn Spears & Kip Sabian will also be in singles action tonight against new names Alex Chamberlain & Michael Stevens, respectively. There will also be two matches to take place between well known talent as The Butcher and the Blade face SCU (more specifically, the Addiction) & The Hybrid 2 return to tag team action to face the Natural Nightmares.
