When AEW first revealed the TNT Championship belt, its safe to say that fans were left a little… underwhelmed. Many fans took to Twitter to voice their opinion on the belt with some saying it was ugly, looked cheap and was no better than the WWE 24/7 Championship.
Inaugral TNT Champion Cody Rhodes responded at the time, saying that the belt was not the finished product and was still being updated. The reason that the belt was not introduced in it’s final form was that AEW were unable to get hold of their regular belt guy due to COVID-19.
@AEWDUB sent out a tweet just a few moments ago showing off the supposedly finished belt design which we will see on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
AEWDUB are not a verified account and don’t seem to have any affiliation with AEW, but the belt does appear to be the real deal.
