According to a recent report by WrestleVotes, WWE are treating this year’s SummerSlam weekend and the new Thunderdome setup as a reboot for the company after spending several months being limited by the confines of the WWE Performance Center.
The company has plans for things in the near future that are “different but pretty cool.”
WrestleVotes also noted that there will likely be one or two returns along the way and some new storyline ideas. Several big name Superstars have been missing for some time now and an attraction like Roman Reigns or Edge would be a huge boost for the company’s ratings at a time where they need them most.
