Excalibur has been absent from the last three episodes of AEW Dynamite after requesting some time off from the company. The reason for the time off was due to footage surfacing on social media where he can be heard using racial slurs in a wrestling promo some seventeen years ago.
Dave Meltzer reported in the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the under fire AEW announcer will be returning to the promotion on August 26th.
