Roman Reigns made his return last week at WWE SummerSlam. He won the WWE Universal Championship at WWE Payback.
Reigns is now the top heel on Friday Night Smackdown and he has Paul Heyman as his advocate. Following his win, fans have been wondering how long he will be the champion.
According to Wrestling News, it has been reported that he will be a champion for a long time. Vince McMahon apparently plans on keeping the title on Reigns until WrestleMania 37.
A WWE source said, “Vince is not playing around. He wants Roman to hold onto that belt until WrestleMania at least. Everyone knows the fans will cheer him and we all expect him to be a babyface sooner than later but the games with the silly verbiage in promos are done with. Roman will have more input this time with his promos.”
We will have to see how his current Championship run will be booked.
