Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT is reporting that WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon told Randy Orton to make Keith Lee look like a star before their match last night at Payback.
McMahon supposedly told The Legend Killer to put Lee over in a big way, which is why Lee surprisingly went over Orton in a clean finish.
The source stated:
“Imagine how high Vince has to be on someone to have Randy Orton put them over clean as a whistle. Orton, doing the best work of his career, wants to help create that next generation of stars. He gets it.”
It was also noted that McMahon wants to “push Lee to the moon.”
