WWE Raw: 8/31 Preview
After last night’s Payback show, we’re gearing up for what we hope to be another wild ride episode of Raw! DNezz here, getting ready to bring you all of the action from Bodyslam.net’s exclusive, “Den of DNezz”.
With Clash of Champions weeks away, how will the landscape of the Red Brand be shaped after last night’s fallout; more importantly, how will the coming weeks shape what looks to be another promising PPV Event for WWE? Here’s what to expect tonight on Raw.
Rey Mysterio v. Seth Rollins
After last night’s much-needed victory by The Mysterio Men, it looks as though Rey will square off against The Monday Night Messiah, in what should be the final installment of this lengthy feud. Can Mysterio put an end to the war or will Rollins blood-lust resurface after being embarrassed at Payback? Will Dominik have a part to play? Will Murphy find his way back into the good graces of his master? It has main event written all over it and this match happens tonight!
Plus…
After losing his US Championship to the Almighty Bobby Lashley last night at Payback, Crews vowed to regain his title from the CEO of the Hurt Business. Will Lashley accept the challenge for a rematch? Will Lashley hold off until Clash Of Champions or will Crews frustrate and force the hand of the newly crowned US Champ? It should be Hurt Business as usual tonight on Raw.
New Women’s Tag Team Champions were crowned last night as Shayna Baszler was a one woman wrecking crew, locking both Bayley and Banks in simultaneous submissions for the victory. Will it be all celebration tonight between Jax and Baszler? Will their animosity for each other spark again? Will The Golden Role Model’s make an appearance and crash the party?
After last night’s unfortunate update on the WWE Champion, it appears the The Scottish Psychopath may be put on the shelf for a bit after Randy Orton’s vicious punt kick assault left The WWE Champion with a fractured jaw. How will the WWE Champion prepare for Clash of Champions and more importantly, will he be cleared for competition?
After last night’s massive win for Keith Lee at Payback, has The Limitless One firmly cemented himself as a main event player on the Red Brand? Will Randy Orton respond after last night’s surprising loss? The future is certainly bright Lee and tonight will be major indicator as to his path to greatness; especially with McIntyre possibly being sidelined at the hands, or feet as it were, of The Legend Killer.
