AEW’s TNT Champion Brodie Lee took to The Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast to chat about a wide range of topics including Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar has not been seen on WWE television since loosing the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at the main event of Wrestlemania 36 Night 2. Brock Lesnar is now free agent as his contract with WWE expired after his match at WrestleMania 36. Although he has talked with WWE about a new deal, the negotiations are on pause.
Brodie went on record to say:
“I mean you have to look at every free agent especially one of the magnitude of Brock Lesnar. From a business side of things, you have to look at that. From a professor wrestler side of things, I’m not sure that he’s the best fit for AEW, but again, I’m not management. I’ve been in the ring twice with him. So I’m clearly not afraid of him. So if he was to be here, I mean I have a championship so if he wants to start somewhere, I’ll welcome him.”
