Does AEW Have Plans To Use More NWA Talent?
AEW Owner and President Tony Khan participated in a Media Call earlier today ahead of AEW’s All Out PPV this weekend.
During the call he was asked about the company’s working relationship with the NWA, and whether or not they have plans to work with any other NWA talent besides Thunder Rosa.
Tony put over Thunder Rosa and her work on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite and her match against former WWE Superstar Serena Deeb. Tony went on to add that they currently do not have any plans in place to work with any NWA talent other than Thunder Rosa.
Tony also went on to say that the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions has played a big part in the AEW Women’s Division, as a lot of the company’s top stars are still stuck in Japan and other countries. With the NWA currently not operating, this lead to the opportunity for Thunder Rosa to come in and work an AEW program with Shida at All Out.
