Rising AEW star Darby Allin has stated on twitter that he refuses to be an “afterthought”. He proclaimed thaylt it is his belief he will one day be in a main event on an AEW PPV.
Darby competed in a 21 man battle royale at AEW All out, eventually being eliminated by Brian Cage. He took a pretty nasty bump on his way over the top rope, thankfully it would appear he is fine.
Allin would make the following comments :
Darby Allin is only 27 and he is already one of the most popular stars in AEW. He has challenged both Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley for the AEW world title, coming up just short on both occasions. Looking at his AEW run so far, it’s hard to disagree with him, he appears to be well on his way to the main event scene in All Elite Wrestling.
