AEW will continue its relationship with the NWA on next week’s Dynamite as NWA Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa will defend the title against Ivelisse.
Thunder Rosa unsuccessfully challenged AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida at the recent AEW All Out. Ivelisse meanwhile won the AEW Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament with partner Diamante, beating The Nightmare Sisters (Allie and Brandi Rhodes) in the finals on the Aug. 22 episode of Dynamite.
The newly crowned AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR will also be in action against Jurassic Express. Other tag matches will include a Parking Lot Fight between Santana & Ortiz and Best Friends and the team of Chris Jericho and Jake Hager verus Private Party.
After dropping the tag titles at All Out, “Hangman” Adam Page will also be in singles action against another former tag champion in Kazarian. AEW Chairman Tony Khan also advertised MJF will be in action, as will Jon Moxley and Lance Archer as tensions build ahead of their AEW World Championship clash.
