AEW Hits 1 Million Viewers. Tony Khan And Chris Jericho React
With NXT having been on Tuesday nights recently, AEW has had Wednesday nights all to themselves. This has been met favourably by fans, as it has enabled us to watch both shows and not have the argument over which was better.
The viewership for this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show has been released and they hit 1.016 million viewers, the first time they’ve hit 1 million. This is a massive achievement for the company and can only help push them further into the front of TNT’s minds.
With the achievement being shared around the world, both Tony Khan and Chris Jericho took to Twitter to react to the news.
Khan said:
“Thank you very much to everyone who watched #AEWDynamite last night and made it our biggest overall audience of 2020, over 1 million total viewers, and one of our biggest numbers in the demo this year as well! We’re back on TNT with another huge card next week, please join us!”
Jericho said:
#AEWDynamite did over ONE MILLION VIEWERS last night… and look who started the show. #YoureWelcome @allelitewrestling #demogod
Jericho will be happy, especially with calling himself the demo God. Fans have made it clear they would like to see the shows separated for good. We can all enjoy the shows without the drama of who was better and why. Well done to AEW, and long may they continue to succeed.
