Update On Mickie James’ Injury Status After WWE RAW

Last night on WWE RAW we saw Mickie James take on RAW Women’s Champion Asuka in a title match, but the bout ended prematurely when the referee chose to call off the match from out of nowhere.

WWE legend Mick Foley swiftly came out and claimed on Twitter that James had sustained a shoulder injury during the match, which led to the referee calling for the match to end.

I’m hearing that @MickieJames may have injured her shoulder in tonight’s #Raw match – which would explain the quick ending to the match.

If true, I’m wishing Mickie a quick and complete recovery…and hoping she gets another shot at the title. https://t.co/gf69VD5ahB

Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed via Twitter that James’ is in fact okay:

Mickie James is fine, the ref screwed up.
