March 28th 2021 is the date that many wrestling fans will be looking forward to as it is the date for the next instalment of WWE’s flagship show, WrestleMania.
WrestleMania 37 will be held in Inglewood, California at the SoFi Stadium. Of course, this will all be depending on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. With that being said, the company may need to overcome an additional hurdle in terms of plans for SmackDown and any potential NXT TakeOver event that weekend.
WWE had previously announced that SmackDown, NXT TakeOver and RAW would take place at the STAPLES Center in Downtown Los Angeles, with WrestleMania AXXESS and the Hall of Fame happening at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It is also worth noting that the musical group Grupo Firme announced in August that they’ll be playing shows at the STAPLES Center and the venue’s website is selling tickets for the shows on March 26th and March 27th 2021.
WWE is also rumored to be looking for a “Plan B” venue in case the SoFi Stadium could not be used because of the pandemic.
