AEW Dynamite Vs WWE NXT Viewership 09/16
After one full month of no head-to-head competition between WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite, the shows were back to airing in their normal timeslots this week.
It was a familiar stpry though as Week 49 of the Wednesday Night War went in the favour of AEW over NXT.
Last night’s Dynamite episode drew 886,000 viewers on TNT, wheras last night’s NXT episode drew 200,000 less at only 689,000 viewers on the USA Network, according to Showbuzz Daily. AEW was ranked at #3 in the Cable Top 150, while NXT finished at #31. AEW was #55 in viewership, while NXT wasn’t too far behind at #65.
Last week’s Dynamite pulled in a massive 1.016 million viewers, ranking #7 in the Top 150 and #55 in viewership. Last week’s NXT drew an impressive 838,000 viewers, finishing #15 in the Top 150 and #60 in viewership.
This week AEW drew a 0.34 rating in the important 18-49 demographic while NXT drew a 0.18 rating. Last week’s Dynamite show managed a 0.37 rating while NXT drew a 0.22 rating.
