Top of the morning to you IWC and welcome to another weekly addition of Bodyslam.net’s Smackdown Preview! With only two episodes until Clash of Champions, Smackdown has certainly seen its share of new developments, and as this shapes into what I feel to be a rather nice card for this months PPV event, there are still details that need ironing out. Will that happen tonight? Here’s what the WWE Universe can expect on tonight’s action packed episode of Smackdown on Fox!
Samoan Street Fight
After last week’s interesting main event, it appears that Roman Reigns and Jey Uso will partner up, once again, to take on the Blue Brand Bullies, Sheamus and King Corbin in a Samoan Street Fight! Can the cousins keep to the same page and once again vanquish their foes? Will the rift between Roman and Jey Uso expand? Is this all just a game of cat and mouse orchestrated by the Big Dog?
The Boss Returns
Two weeks removed from one of the most vicious double-crosses of the year, Sasha Banks makes her return to television to address the actions of her former best friend. With Clash of Champions already booked to showcase Niki Cross v. Bayley, will the Smackdown Women’s Champion now be forced to look over both shoulders? Cross may be hungry but Banks may be out for blood heading into Clash of Champions. The betrayal will be rebutted tonight on Smackdown!
AJ Styles to battle Sami Zayn
In an Intercontinental Title picture that has been chaotic to say the least, we’ll bare witness to The Phenomenal AJ Styles taking on Sami Zayn to answer who has the rightful claim to an Intercontinental Title opportunity at Clash of Champions. Will The Great Liberator re-establish himself into the title picture with a win tonight? Will Jeff Hardy be ringside for tonight’s action? Can all three men control themselves for the match to reach a finish? Bad blood boils over tonight in this number one contenders match, tonight!
Nikki Cross set to Guest on Moment of Bliss
Weeks of turmoil have left these best friends in shambles and the WWE Universe is concerned as to the hold that Bray Wyatt has over Lil Miss Bliss. After last week’s odd happening’s during the women’s qualifying match, Cross can finally confront her friend and maybe, just maybe we can get some answers directly from the source. We know that Bayley and Banks we’ll be a volatile face to face but surely Bliss/Cross Applesauce can salvage what is left of their friendship and repair the divide? Can’t they? Pretty please?
