WWE have booked an Ambulance Match between Randy Orton and WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at the upcoming WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view event.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that the match is almost guaranteed to end with a fluke finish. He stated that at this moment it’s not decided if Orton is walking out as the new champion, but there have been signs to suggest it may happen.
Meltzer pointed out that there is still talk of the planned Orton vs. Edge part 3 match at WrestleMania 37 being for the title. He added that by booking the ambulance match, WWE can easily protect McIntyre from taking a pin and keep him looking strong while getting the title off him.
