Cody has once again failed in his attempt to request the rights for the trademark ‘The American Dream’. This nickname was used by his father Dusty Rhodes throughout his entire career.
Heel By Nature reports that the trademark request was denied for the third time following a request for reconsideration filed by Cody’s attorney. The request was made on the 14th September.
The latest refusal hit a number of points as to why it wasn’t granted,
“Raise a new issue
Resolve all the outstanding issue(s)
Provide any new or compelling evidence with regard to the outstanding issue(s). Present analysis and arguments that were persuasive or shed new light on the outstanding issue(s)”
