It would seem despite what looked like comments of dislike from wrestlers and the community alike, including CM Punk on his Instagram story, Retribution is making sure you remember their name. SlapJack, formally known as Shane Thorne took to Twitter to defend the change:
You would think given the report put out by bodyslam.net yesterday about the online meanings behind their names they might not want to be so eager to promote the names.
It’s yet to be seen how the Retribution angle will unfold but one thing is for sure, they better figure things out quickly before fans continue to turn on the idea.
