The recent group of NXT call-ups to the WWE main roster have reportedly been told they will begin negotiating their contracts “soon”
According to Fightful Select, WWE has told several of the wrestlers that were called up that they will negotiate with them after WrestleMania 37, which as of now is scheduled to take place March 28, 2021 at SoFi Stadium in California.
It was reported that the money in the NXT wrestlers contracts is much lower than they were offered to re-sign last year. It’s to be assumed, due to COVID-19, that WWE has been cutting costs and gaining profit wherever they can. Many former Superstars who had not been used as much on programming have been let go recently and found work with various other promotions.
The NXT performers were not mentioned by name but recently called up wrestlers such as Keith Lee and various members of Retribution have been seen on Monday Night RAW.
