The highly anticipated IWTV original series, The Masked Wrestler, will premiere on Wednesday night, October 14 at 10pm EDT.
On August 30th, they announced “The Masked Wrestler” – a tournament of mystery. The concept: Eight of the top independent wrestlers are disguised and will battle it out in a single-elimination tournament.
If you lose in the tournament, you must reveal your identity. From the press release, the series will run for seven episodes. Panelists are IWTV Wrestler of the year and AEW superstar Kris Statlander, former reality tv contestant Mr. Brickster and producer Billy Dixon.
Now if you’ve never seen the Masked Singer, a lot of fun can be had with a show of this nature. IWTV on-air personality, J-Rose conveyed that message as well, hoping fans would immerse themselves in this unique wrestling universe.
The official trailer for The Masked Wrestler was first revealed last night on Wreddit and the site will host an AMA with Statlander next Wednesday night (10/7) immediately following AEW Dynamite.
