GLOW Season 4 Had IMPACT Star As Part Of Cast
With the pandemic hitting all forms of entertainment, Netflix announced on Monday that the popular wrestling comedy/drama, GLOW, would not be returning.
Wrestlers and talent from the industry have been heavily involved in the show. IMPACT star Taya Valkyrie, took to Twitter in order to share the news that she was part of the case for season 4 of GLOW. The tweet has since been removed, but Taya said the following,
“To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. This past February I was cast on GLOW S4. This was finally my chance to be seen as an actress, to work with some of the most talented women behind and in front of the camera. I’m heartbroken that the work we did will never be seen and that we didn’t get to finish what had been started. Thank you to everyone that was so nice to me and supportive on set. I guess I’ll just have to wait a little longer to meet ya Hollywood.”
Taya Valkyrie appears to have deleted the tweet, but she did take the time to share Variety’s piece on the cancellation of GLOW. The show goes into the back story of women’s wrestling and putting it on the map. It’s a shame the show ended, but hopefully it may return once things return to some form of normal.
