During this weeks episode of AEW Dynamite, Cody went one-on-one with Brodie Lee for the TNT Championship in a dog collar match. If you don’t know the rules behind a dog collar match, I’ll let Arn Anderson explain:
In essence, you take a dog collar with either end is of 10-12 inches,” Anderson explained. “One man puts a collar around his neck; another man puts a collar around his neck. They are free to use that chain in any way they choose.” PIN IT. He reiterated that there are only a few dog collar matches in history.
Cody lost the title to Brodie Lee back in August, and Brodie Lee challenged Cody to the match two weeks ago. The match was gruelling and involved multiple cuts and bruises, but Cody managed to get the win to start his second run as TNT Champion.
