NXT Trainees “Don’t Feel Safe” Returning To WWE PC
According to a new report from Fightful Select, a number of the current class of WWE NXT trainees do not feel safe or comfortable with the idea of returning to train at the newly renovated WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL.
Fightful report that the trainees in question were scheduled to return to the WWE Performance Center last Thursday but some of them have since expressed discomfort and unease in returning to the facility because of the number of “COVID truthers” who are there as part of the NXT roster.
WWE officials told NXT talents before the renovation that none of them would receive any heat if they didn’t comfortable with coming back to work yet, though at the same time the talent were told that they may have have the unenviable task of having to “explain it to Vince [McMahon]” themselves.
Part of the reason that the NXT trainees are so concerned is that the “COVID truthers” amongst the NXT roster are not taking the COVID-19 pandemic seriously and they are concerned about entering back into an environment where they may be judged and pushed aside.
WWE recently announced another new class of Performance Center recruits, including EVOLVE and SHINE veteran Brandi Pawelek (Brandi Lauren), EVOLVE veteran Camron Rogers, and EVOLVE veteran Anthony Greene.
