Al Snow’s Ohio Valley Wrestling Signs With Game+
Al Snow took to Twitter to confirm some great news for the Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) company.
For those that don’t know, OVW was initially a member promotion of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) from its inception in 1993 until 2000. Following 2000, the company became the primary developmental territory for the WWE. This development helped both companies, and it remained in place up until February 2008.
After a few years of not being affiliated with any company, OVW then made an agreement with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA; now Impact Wrestling). This would end in 2013, but on March 19, 2019, OVW and Impact re-established their developmental agreement.
OVW has held agreements with Youtoo America WBNA-21, and on WBON-LD in London, Kentucky, on hosting their live weekly events. Al Snow confirmed on Twitter that OVW has signed a new agreement with Game+ which will show a 2 hour production of the show on its channel. The show will focus on top expert commentary and one of a kind matches, and it is great to see the company back in full action.
The lineup will start on October 18th at 9 a.m. ET/6 a.m. PT.
