Vince McMahon Hoping Two Huge Stars Can Return In Time For Wrestlemania
According to a report from Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co, Vince McMahon is hoping to have two of his biggest stars, Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch, back for Wrestlemania 37. The Chairman Of The Board is hoping they will be able to compete in a huge match against each other on the ‘Grandest stage of them all’.
Becky Lynch has been away since May, after announcing she was pregnant, and is due to give birth in December. Ronda Rousey has been out since Wrestlemania 35 after taking her own hiatus from WWE.
A source told the media outlet:
“Vince is hoping for Becky to be back in January or February to start the one on one feud with Ronda.”
Vince wants WrestleMania to be the show that says ‘WWE is back,’” according to the same source.
“We can’t do Becky vs. Ronda in the Thunderdome with no fans. He wants the fans back and they will be back by the time Mania rolls around.”
Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey would be a huge match for Wrestlemania 37. They were two thirds of the first ever all female main event of Wrestlemania and are two of the biggest stars in the industry.
WWE fans have been clamouring for a one on one match between the two ever since their first potential meeting was cancelled back at Survivor Series 2018 due to an injury Becky suffered before the show. Maybe soon we will finally get to see a one on one match between ‘The Man’ and ‘The baddest women on the planet’.
