Fightful Select are reporting that early drafts of the creative plans for tonight’s “season premiere” of WWE RAW have Mustafa Ali announcing that he was, as expected, the hacker on SmackDown.
The Hacker was the hottest angle WWE had seen in some time, making several appearances and sending out cryptic messages toward the start of this year but was never revealed. The Hacker most notably helped to reveal the truth behind the Otis & Mandy Rose saga.
It was noted that The Hacker angle was never planned to be the focal point of Retribution, but the reveal tonight is purely so that WWE can tie up loose ends.
