WWE Under Investigation As A Covid Hotspot
It has been reported that three WWE venues are under investigation in Orange County in Florida as hotspots for COVID-19.
The Orlando County Department of Public Health is investigating several businesses as potential COVID hotspots, including three venues where WWE conducts business.
The venues on the list include, Amway Center (WWE ThunderDome), Full Sail Live (WWE Full Sail Studios), and the WWE Performance Center.
Health Officer Dr. Raul Pino has instructed a business compliance team, also known as the Orange County Strike Team to visit businesses and conduct the investigation.
There have been 3,662 new cases reported by the Florida Health Board on Tuesday.
The Orange County Health Department is also looking to investigate several local bars, which the agency believes is the highest risk.
It has been no secret in recent weeks that WWE talent have either been self isolating or have tested positive. It’s one of the rumoured reasons for Mia Yim’s absence recently.
