Former NFL kicker Pat McAfee has spoken out on his shock return to NXT. He wouldn’t cut a promo insulting the NXT Universe and talking up his new alliance with the new NXT tag team champions, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch.
McAfee would appear in a mask and help Burch Lorcan defeat the former NXT tag team champions ‘Brezango’. After McAfee revealed himself to be the masked man and the show went off the air, McAfee cut a promo declaring the new trio to be the kings of NXT.
“I’d like to say this place looks like absolute dog crap with all of you humans in here this evening. This would have looked much better without you. I was in a building that didn’t have any fans. The place was fantastic. Now tonight, you all got a chance to have a front row seat to watch two men who have battled for years to get to the top of the NXT Tag Team mountain. This is the start of something very special. You’re probably wondering how did we get here. We will get to that at some point. Just know that us three are the kings of this brand. We three are unstoppable. Us three are nowhere near done with what we’re going to do to all of NXT. Have a great night! We’re the greatest! You suck! Cheers,”

After this promo, Pat McAfee would then join the new tag team champions in their first photo shoot with the gold. Which can be seen below:
Listening to McAfee after the match, it appears he, along with Lorcan and Burch were the ones who attacked both Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong before their scheduled NXT tag team title match with Brezenago. During the match we would see Lorcan and Burch turn heel, when Burch hit Tyler Breeze with a low blow before his team secured the win. So now all signs point to a feud between McAfee, Lorcan and Burch and the Undisputed Era.
