WWE SmackDown women’s champion Bayley was one of the original stars who helped put NXT on the map. Bayley, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks were dubbed the Four Horsewomen and they helped revolutionise the wrestling business for women. NXT now has one of the top women’s rosters in wrestling and represents the future of the industry and Bayley has said that she keeps her eye on the future.
Speaking with ProSieben Maxx on Instagram Live, Bayley said that she is keeping an eye on the current women’s roster in NXT, even naming several that she wants to get in the ring with in the near future. Bayley named one wrestler in particular that many may not expect – NXT star Aliyah.

“Keep an eye on Aliyah, she’s been there since I was there and she hasn’t stopped working. I really look forward to her just getting some moments of her own. But, Candace LeRae, Shotzi Blackheart, Tegan Nox, when she gets better and comes back. Do I even have to mention Io [Shirai]? Everybody already knows that. Rhea [Ripley], everybody knows that. There’s a lot, and I look forward to all of them,”said Bayley.
Bayley was involved in one of the most talked about matches in NXT history when she took on Sasha Banks in an Iron Woman match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn in 2015. We will finally see the rivalry take off again, as they look to top that classic NXT match, when Bayley defends her Smackdown women’s title against Sasha Banks inside Hell In A Cell. WWE Hell In Cell Will air live on the WWE Network on Sunday October 25th.
