Joey Janela has taken to Twitter to respond to a fan who said stated that AEW should pay their talent more, in order to stop them from doing independent shows during Covid-19 times.
The fan would Tweet,
Can’t you just pay your guys enough to not do Indy shows for a year? An indy show is the exact opposite of any situation that is safe for Covid.”
Joey Janela would reply that he doesn’t do independent shows for the money, but he does it for the love of the business. He would say the following,
“Moron I wasn’t doing indie shows for the money I was doing it for the ring time and the love for the business, my paycheck is more than enough, and would’ve done Indies for free…. I’ve really had enough of this app”
The Tweet reply is due to the fan showing concern due to the level of people who contacted covid-19 during the collective weekend.
