Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory 2020 Results – 10/24/20
Ladies and Gentlemen my name is Joseph Conlin and I will be hear tonight giving you the updates on what’s going on with Bound For Glory which is a show I have been looking forward to for months. We will see matches tonight like Rich Swann vs Eric Young for the Impact World Championship, Kylie Rae vs Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship, Good Brothers vs Ace Austin and Madman Fulton vs The North vs Motor City Machine Guns for the Impact Tag Team Championships, and a Six Way Scramble for the X Division Championship!!
Last time Impact Wrestling was on Pay Per View was July 18th with Slammiversary and it was a awesome show tonight should be another awesome Pay Per View and a historic night for Impact Wrestling with Bound For Glory. I’ll be back later for the action in a few minutes!!
Ok so I apologize for being behind with the show I had difficulties on Pay Per View and lucky I got a link thanks to our very own Chris Deez of Body Slam.Net so I could watch the show and thank you very much to Chris for that. I missed the 6 way Scramble for the X division championship and I’m watching the Call Your Shot Battle Royal right now with Heath coming out as the next entrant. We are down to Rhino, Heath, Sami Callahan, and James Storm in the Call your shot Battle Royal. Sami Callahan eliminated Heath and James Storm and it’s now a one on one match between Rhino and Sami Callahan to see who wins this match. And Rhino has won the Call Your Shot Battle Royal after pinning Sami Callahan with a gore.
Next up we got EC3 vs Moose in a Cinematic matchup in a parking lot brawl. Moose has busted open EC3 and is now screaming at him. There is tomes of blood in this match. EC3 cuts a great promo on Moose about being a real champion and then takes a spear onto the championship. Moose is talking smack while giving punches to EC3 and making him bleed all over his face. Moose has won this Cinematic Match against EC3 which I’m shocked about.
Following the last match we had we have Ken Shamrock vs Eddie Edwards in a singles match and it’s been a huge night for Shamrock as he has been inducted into the Impact Hall of Fame and getting a message from Dwayne The Rock Johnson. Sami Callahan has had a lot of involvement in this match as Edwards takes him out with a toppade. Eddie Edwards hits Boston Knee party into a Boston knee crab. Sami Callahan then gets involved and gets hits by a kendo stick by Eddie Edwards. Ken Shamrock defeats Eddie Edwards after a distraction from Sami Callahan.
This should be absolutely amazing to watch. Fans of tag team wrestling are really going to enjoy this match. It’s The North vs Ace Austin and Madman Fulton vs Good Brothers vs Motor City Machine Guns for the Impact Tag Team Championships. The North viciously attack Motor City Machine Guns and Alex Shelly gets pile drived onto the stage. Match gets underway and Chris Sabin of Motor City Machine Guns is going in alone. The North along with Austin and Fulton picking apart on Chris Sabin.
Good Brothers finally get involved in the match and Karl Anderson goes at it with Ace Austin. Gallows and Fulton both stand in the ring and Gallows gets the advantage and sends Fulton over the top rope. Sabin then tags himself in and takes out everybody in the match. Sabin hits a falcon arrow and Ace Austin and in a very close near fall Ethan Page just breaks up the pi fall in time. Very fast paced action now in this match and things are getting really good in this 4 way matchup. Anderson hits a neck breaker off the top, try’s to attempt Magic Killer and Alexander reverses. In the end Page hits Anderson with a title and The North once again win the Impact Tag Team Championships in my opinion the match of the night so far.
ITS KNOCKOUTS TIME!!!! Very interested in this matchup between Kylie Rae and Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship and I’m thinking tonight is Kylie’s night. So Kylie Rae is nowhere to be found so Deonna makes a open challenge and it’s Su Young aka Susie. She’s back after Deonna hurt her arm back at Victory Road 3 weeks ago. And Sue Young is taking command in this matchup so far against Deonna Purrazzo. Deonna being very technical now with Sue Young going after her arm and fingers and also slowing the pace down in the match. Just reading social media moments ago there people really upset over Kylie Rae not getting her match tonight for the Knockouts Championship. Whatever the situation is I wish Kylie Rae all of the best. Sue Young brings out her gloves and Deonna reverses and accidentally takes out the referee. Kimber Lee now takes a steak chair and attacks Sue Young. MY GOODNESS SUE YOUNG JUST BECAME THE KNOCKOUTS CHAMPION. Totally didn’t expect that and I don’t believe Deonna deserved to lose that match.
Before the main event I would like to thank everyday who tuned into the live coverage tonight for Bound For Glory and it was great doing my first live coverage during a Pay Per View. It has been solid so far but I think this main event is about to be awesome between Rich Swann and Eric Young. Eric Young is immediately going after the knee of Rich Swann. Rich Swann is really fired up to start this match. Very scary spot as Rich Swann landed immediately on his neck. Eric Young has been controlling this entire match with Swann trying to fight back but Young keeps beating him down.
Swann is finally making a strong comeback here against Eric Young and now he has blood coming out of his mouth. Beautiful frog splash by Rich Swann but Eric Young just kicks out at 2. Rich Swann reverses the piledriver into a roll up but Eric Young kicks out. Swann it’s a cutter into a springboard cutter, Rich Swann then hits a splash from the top and Rich Swann is the NEW IMPACT WORLD CHAMPION!!!! And the show ends with a feel good moment with Rich Swann being congratulated by the Impact roster.
