As confirmed by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer; during the taping of this week’s AEW Dynamite, one of the matches was brought to a stop due to a throat injury sustained by Abadon.
Abadon vs Tay Conti was cut abruptly short when Abadon was left unable to breathe after a blow to the throat and was immediately taken to hospital.
Since then it has been said that she is expected to make a full recovery. It has not been revealed if they got enough footage to justify using it or if they’ll scrap the whole segment, the latter being the most likely outcome.
