Latest News On Kylie Rae And Her Status With IMPACT Following Bound For Glory No-Show
Kylie Rae was scheduled to wrestle Deonna Purrazzo at IMPACT Wrestling’s Bound For Glory PPV this past weekend. However, despite being advertised even right up until the pre-match video package, Kylie Rae did not show up for Bound For Glory. Instead, IMPACT replaced her with the returning Su-Yung, who went on to defeat Purrazzo for the Knockout’s Championship.
According to a new report via Fightful Select, there is said to be “no bad blood” between IMPACT Wrestling and Kylie Rae following her no-show at Bound For Glory this past weekend. It was also stated that IMPACT still remains hopeful that Kylie will be able to return to the company.
It was not mentioned however, if the original plan for the IMPACT Knockout’s Title was for Kylie Rae to win the belt from Deonna Purrazzo, instead of Su-Yung. The reason for Kylie Rae’s Bound For Glory no-show is still not known, but it was initially believed that she has suffered an injury over The Collective Weekend which also caused her to pull out of a recent Black Label Pro event.
IMPACT Wrestling’s next set of TV tapings is slated to take place November 17th through the 20th. There apparently is no pressure on Kylie Rae to return to the company by the tapings on the 17th, but it seems that the door was open if she chose to do so.
It is also interesting to note that apparently “none of the roster that we spoke with had heard from her as of Tuesday morning.”
