WWE Pulls “At Least One Person” From Tonight’s Halloween Havoc Due To COVID

It was previously reported that there has been another potential COVID-19 outbreak at the WWE Performance Center. It was said that at least one person has currently tested positive for the virus. The report states that the incident happened sometime on Friday of last week, and that all of the people who were present during the potential exposure have been asked to quarantine themselves.

The latest positive test has apparently affected tonight’s NXT Halloween Havoc special that will air on the USA Network.

According to a new report via Fightful Select, “at least one person” who was scheduled to appear on camera during tonight’s NXT Halloween Havoc special has been pulled from the event. It was stated that the person was not somebody who was booked to compete in a match on the card.

“They were not planned for a match, though we can’t speak about the status of those scheduled for a match. The latest COVID-19 scare in the Performance Center has many wrestlers quarantining.”

Currently, it still appears as though all of the advertised matches for tonight’s NXT Halloween Havoc special will still go on as planned. However, information surrounding the latest potential COVID outbreak has been “very much on a locked down status.”

It was previously reported that WWE was still planning on allowing 100 fans to be in attendance in the crowd, as long as they are cleared and pass WWE’s screening process.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about tonight’s NXT Halloween Havoc event, or information regarding the latest positive COVID tests from WWE employees.
