Jake Hager Victorious, But Tested At Bellator 250
Jake Hager may have one loss in the world of Sports entertainment at AEW but his MMA record continues to be unblemished.
It’s been a year since Hager was last in the cage for a fight, as his bout was turned into a No Contest after repeated groin strikes on opponent Anthony Garrett.
Jake Hager returned to Bellator 250 as a big favorite (-800) and headlined the prelim card against also undefeated Brandon Calton.
After a uneventful first round, Hager looked to be in control until eating a HUGE over hand right from Calton that sent him into the cage. If not at the end of the round, Calton may have finished Hager
In the final round, that could have went either way, Hager seemed to do just enough to win down the stretch. Including another low blow landed by Hager. The Judges awarded a split decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29) to Jake Hager, Hager improves to 3-0 with one no contest.
Jake Hager received congratulations from the AEW community on twitter as well.
